Lipomas are the most common soft-tissue tumors. These are slowly growing benign tumors composed of fat tissue and commonly form soft, painless lobulated masses on the body surface.

In certain areas of the body, they have a rare potential to become malignant.

Treatment:
Treatment is only by surgical excision under local or general anesthesia( if large in size). Results are excellent.
